Working closely with brokers, customers, and internal stakeholders, you will help drive sustainable growth while meeting regulatory and operational standards. Key responsibilities include: Underwriting personal and commercial insurance risks in line with the business plan and delegated underwriting authority. Building and maintaining effective relationships with brokers, customers, and internal stakeholders to support portfolio growth. Ensuring underwriting decisions comply with legal, regulatory, and internal governance requirements. Monitoring and analysing portfolio performance to support achievement of business objectives. Maintaining accurate and timely records across underwriting systems and applying reinsurance arrangements appropriately. About you You already have experience in insurance, and you may be looking to build your underwriting capability and continue learning and developing your skills. Ideally, you’ll have established customer and broker relationships and working experience with risk profiling, pricing tools, and loss models. You’ll bring: An interest in underwriting and risk assessment, with exposure to insurance, financial services, or a customer‑focused environment. The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with brokers, customers, and colleagues. Strong and articulate communication abilities, demonstrating clarity and professionalism in both written and verbal interactions. A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. Confidence using everyday technology such as Outlook, Word, and Excel, with a willingness to learn new systems. Qualifications: Necessary Qualifications include: Secondary school certification. Preferred Qualifications include: Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
