JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Underwriting Analyst to support our underwriting team with the successful implementation and adoption of new systems and process improvements. This role will play a critical part in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), developing and documenting workflows, writing test scripts, and delivering training to ensure our underwriting team operates efficiently and effectively with evolving tools and platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of underwriting operations and technology implementation, along with a passion for improving processes and user experience.

COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in an underwriting, business analyst, or systems support role within insurance or financial services.
  • Demonstrated experience with UAT planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Strong technical writing skills, especially for test scripts and process documentation.
  • Excellent understanding of underwriting workflows, systems, and terminology.
  • Skilled in tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio (or similar diagramming tools), and testing software (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Strong communication and training facilitation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
