Responsibilities
  • Communicate directly with Brokers on behalf of the Underwriters to collect account and insured information necessary for risk analysis as well as Lead and Broker issued Policies.
  • Perform and apply knowledge of line of business specific product underwriting rules and/or guidelines for wording review .
  • Collaborate effectively with Underwriters, Brokers, Reinsurers, and offshore production teams within AXA XL to manage the status and workflow of multiple tasks and accounts.
  • Communicate account status to ensure completion of outstanding subjectivities needed to execute policy issuance and premium collection as part of bound accounts.
  • Ensure all policies are brought current with regard to prior term changes as part of renewal underwriting package completed by Underwriting Support Unit for review.
  • Manage the workflow of multiple tasks and maintain a detailed understanding of the status of various tasks owned by Underwriters, Brokers, Reinsurers, AXA XL internal network, and Fronting Partners around the world.
  • Reconciliation of accounts to ensure the endorsements are booked correctly including premium collection as part of bound accounts and correction of any premium entries as required.
  • Collaborate and correspond verbally and in written format with internal and external contacts across the world, keeping in mind differences in local language, time zones, monetary exchange rates, and good local standard, to achieve a high level of service and meet client expectations.
