To provide underwriting, technical support, assist in the development and management of a profitable business portfolio under the specified insurance class according to the Company’s guidelines and delegated authorities.
- Assist underwriters in underwriting of the various products (i.e. Financial Lines etc.) including triaging inquiries, preparing underwriting information, following up with intermediaries, and closing deals
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and guidelines
- Regularly collect, compile and analyze market info to share with the team
- Support credit control in payment collection when needed by coordinating with intermediaries
- Tracking, reporting and analyzing team’s referrals, backlogs and other productivity and efficiency
related management requirements
- Be the digital ambassador of the team
- Recommend and implement initiatives in streamlining policies, processes and procedures to meet
business needs
- Provide interpretation and advice regarding polices, process and procedures
- Maintain accurate data in relevant systems and databases
- Key Performance Indicator: Deliver business results by allocated intermediaries
- Key Performance Indicator: Meeting all operational KPIs
- Key Performance Indicator: Risk awareness and governance
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of underwriting experience in insurance business together with relevant policy documentation handling experience
