As a Project Coordinator in the Global Underwriting Governance team, you will be responsible for supporting the Global Underwriting Governance function to deliver time-critical tasks relating to global underwriting transversal projects and specific underwriting product governance tasks. You will collaborate with senior leaders at AXA XL, AXA Group Underwriting Office and other specialists to enhance business performance and ensure alignment with Group Governance requirements. To be successful in this role, you will have a proven project management or coordination track record, business analysis experience, as well as excellent process improvement and communication skills in the English language.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

  • Fluency in English is a must (at least C1 level).
  • Experience in project management/administration in the insurance industry and in an international environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with proven track record of managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Robust organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
  • Analytical skills to address complex issues.
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office Package, including advanced level of PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills.
  • A recognized project management certification e.g., Prince2, Agile, etc., would be an advantage
  • Change management.
  • Attention to detail.

The person we are looking for may also have these abilities and skills:

  • Experience working with Agile initiatives.
  • SharePoint site administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, executing and coordinating projects from inception to completion while ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Collaborate with Global Underwriting Governance Managers to define project scope, goals, full-scale project plans and deliverables that support business goals in consultation with senior management and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure project alignment with company strategies and objectives.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Support and coordinate all project management activities including setting up project-related meetings and lead and minute these meetings.
  • Responsible for owning the project management processes, which includes general coordination and administration activities.
  • Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track the work of project team members and workstream leaders across the business and relevant functions (e.g., underwriting, risk, legal, compliance, claims, etc.).
  • Identify potential project risks and issues and develop contingency plans.
  • Manage the change control process and ensure proper documentation and effective communication.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time.
  • Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and Project Steering Committees
