Join the dedicated team at Easy Auto & Sunrise Acceptance as an Underwriting Verifier! We are seeking an organized and customer-oriented individual to work in our Corporate finance office located in Cleveland, TN. As an Underwriting Verifier, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Credit Managers by preparing and verifying the necessary information for consumer credit applications. This involves: Thoroughly reviewing consumer credit applications for all required Underwriting fields Following up with requests for missing information from internal and outside sources Calling employers, landlords and references to confirm the accuracy of the data provided Providing customers with an easy buying process by identifying potential efficiencies Sending required compliance notices to applicants Data entry into multiple internet based computer systems Our Verifiers work closely with the Credit Managers and VP of Operations to complete the daily verification and underwriting activities. Requirements include: One year or more experience in underwriting, finance, or related field preferred but not required. Must possess the ability to read, write and fluently speak the English language. Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required. Must be patient, friendly, courteous and respectful in any situation. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office. Must demonstrate professionalism during all interactions with customers, verification contacts, and coworkers. Must be self-motivated, highly detail oriented, and efficient. Great attitude with high-energy personality. Team player, willing to assist coworkers as needed. Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record required, as some occasional day travel between locations may be necessary.
