JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role will provide support in the migration of legacy Avaya/Nortel systems to Microsoft Teams and EVoIP solutions for a large Federal Enterprise project. This role requires extensive travel (~45 weeks / year) to various locations within the US.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Must possess an active TS clearance at the time of application, be willing and able to obtain SCI access, and pass a CI polygraph.
  • Must reside in Washington DC area with willingness to travel extensively within the United States.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related IT Management or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Computer Science or Information Systems or related
  • Experience in deploying Microsoft Teams and EVoIP solutions

Responsibilities
  • Assists in the planning, design, and implementation of communications networks.
  • Responsible for providing assistance and technical support for network design activities.
  • Assists in the review/assessment of user needs.
  • May conduct feasibility studies for projects.
  • May assist in the evaluation and selection of equipment.
  • Provides systems guidance for current and proposed investments in telecommunications and network facilities and/or services from the development of communications software through financial implementation review.
  • Researches present and future communication technologies.
  • Develops telecommunications solutions to address user needs.
  • Assists in the design, development, and testing of communications software interface programs.
  • Requires knowledge of communication protocols, hardware, and real-time operating system programming.
