Monash Heart Private at the Victorian Heart Hospital is currently recruiting for a 12 month fixed-term Acting Nurse Unit Manager position covering parental leave in our private Cardiac Services team, which is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities at the Victorian Heart Hospital. This opportunity is best suited to a clinical leader with recent nursing management experience and at least 5 years’ experience in an acute cardiac setting.

Acting Nurse Unit Manager, Cardiac Services
Monash Heart Private is currently recruiting for a 12 month fixed-term Acting Nurse Unit Manager position covering parental leave in our private Cardiac Services team, which is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities at the Victorian Heart Hospital. This opportunity is best suited to a clinical leader with recent nursing management experience and at least 5 years’ experience in an acute cardiac setting.

In this senior leadership role, you will work closely with the Clinical Operations Manager / Deputy Director of Nursing and will be responsible for the clinical and business outcomes of the unit. Key to your success will be:

• Your ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with Consultant Cardiologists and VHH Leadership Team
• Striving to build and develop a positive culture among your team

• Driving evidence based best practice

Full-Time 12 month Fixed-Term position between 12 May 2025 – 15 May 2026
