Description

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.
The Unit Program Coordinator provides administrative, clerical, and operational support to facilitate the efficient functioning of daily unit operations. The role includes maintaining electronic calendars, supporting meetings by taking minutes, preparing presentation materials, and ensuring smooth communication within the unit. The coordinator also manages policy, and information processes and supports acquisition planning, product/service options, and contracting strategies.

UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUESTED:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a program coordinator or in a similar administrative/operational support role.
  • Task Management Tool (TMT) site management experience.
  • Proficiency in managing databases such as Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Deliberate Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES), Aeromedical Services Information Management System (ASIMS), Automated Readiness Information System (ARIS), Learning Management System (LMS), Commander’s Tool Kit (CCTK), and electronic Deployment Readiness Center (e-DRC).
  • Ability to effectively pass on information related to deployment schedules and associated timelines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update electronic calendars for leadership and staff.
  • Provide administrative support for meetings, including scheduling, taking minutes, and preparing presentation charts.
  • Manage the dissemination and collection of information to and from stakeholders.
  • Support policy and information management functions to ensure compliance with unit standards.
  • Serve as the Task Management Tool (TMT) site manager, developing automated workflows for both new and established processes.
  • Provide advice and recommendations on acquisition planning, including product/service options, contracting methods, vendor resources, cost estimates, and milestone schedules.
  • Prepare and transmit routine correspondence or documentation for signatures, track action status, and file completed actions in official records.
  • Support information dissemination related to deployment schedules and timelines.Performs other job-related duties as assigned
