Summary Job Description: HUC/Unit Secretary Unit Overview: 5B is a 22 bed medical/surgical unit. This unit specializes in the care of oncology, gynecology and hospice care patients. 5B cares for patients receiving chemotherapy. Shift: Part-time, 1st Shift Job Description: Performs a variety of clerical duties relating to the updating and organizing of information on the nursing units. prepares and compiles records in nursing unit; coordinates work within the unit as well as with other units and departments. Reports pertinent information to the department director, unit coordinator, or charge nurse.
