Hourly Pay Range: $18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Position: Unit Secretary, Ortho/Spine- 5EW Location: Skokie Hospital Full Time/Part Time: Part Time, Day and PM Shift (11am-11pm, 11am -7pm, 3-11 pm - 8 or 12hr shifts , Rotating Weekends Hours: 24 Required Travel: N/A What you will do: Coordinate non-clinical duties of the nursing unit Enter patient charges in computer Coordinate patient flow of admissions and discharges Order supplies Customer service to patients, families, nurses, physicians and other support departments Answer phones and relay messages as appropriate Proactively identifies need for service recovery and follow up of resolution What you will need: License: N/A Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Certification: N/A Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience required or 1 year of college and 1 year of work experience required Skills: Proficiency with word processing and computer skills required Benefits (For full time or part time positions): Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance.
