Position Title: Unitizer Operator   Pay Rate:  $17.87   Category/Shift:  Hourly Full-Time 1st Shift (Monday-Friday) overtime and weekend work will be required at times    Physical Location: 368 Technology Dr., Dothan, Al   The Job You Will Perform:  * Keeps appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. * Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area. * Keep appropriate records and reports (complete forms, logs, inventory and records accurately – as required) * Perform shipping and billing duties when required.  * Other duties as assigned by managers and/or supervisor/shift leader. * Operate the Unitizer machine when finished product is complete and ready to be prepared for shipping.  * Responsible for the set-up, operating and preventive maintenance of Baler machinery and process.  Monitors operations, maintains records and makes necessary adjustments to meet standards.     The Skills You Will Bring:  * High School Diploma or GED preferred. * Two years or more experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. (corrugated manufacturing is a plus). * Ability to problem solve with minimal assistance. * Ability to communicate effectively with other employees, supervisors, managers, etc. * Basic computer skills, ability to perform basic arithmetic including additions, subtractions, multiplications, division and use of a tape measure. * Comply with all IPs Safety rules and Quality policies and protocols at all times. * Ability to learn and understand machine line ups. * Ability to understand/learn all operations of corrugated manufacturing. * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions given in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. * Ability to understand/learn and accurately utilize HRMS for setup, run instructions and production times. * Be able to read and understand loading instructions. * Ability to problem solve with minimal assistance. * Provide daily feedback to supervisor regarding all aspects of shift activity.
