Description Step into the role of Universal Banker and become the face of our bank! In this position, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and tailored banking solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for performing all teller functions, servicing existing clients with a focus on their needs, opening consumer deposit accounts, and recommending appropriate products and services to enhance the client experience. This role requires flexibility with schedule and the willingness to rotate between bank locations. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: Daily Operations: Efficiently process client transactions with a high level of integrity, accuracy, and knowledge. Accurately open, maintain, and close consumer deposit accounts and services, including identifying cross selling and referral opportunities. Maintain detailed level of knowledge on ACBT’s core processing system, products, and services, and a conversational level of knowledge other lines of business (e.g., lending and wealth management). Client Experience: Provides quality, personalized service to satisfy client needs and develop advocates. Respond to all manner of client account/product/service inquiries and resolve related account issues. Routinely provides in person, phone, and/or electronic service to clients on issues ranging from debit card, online/mobile banking, and treasury management services, etc. Risk & Compliance: Recognize potential fraud and manage risk by demonstrating sound judgment and heightened scrutiny to identify and avoid loss. Follows regulatory and bank policies and procedures, remaining current on all training. PERFORMANCE MEASURES: Quality and accuracy of work performed Reliability, thoroughness, and timeliness of service provided Adherence to bank policy and Federal and State Regulatory requirements Participation in training and appropriate professional developments Appropriate attendance record and punctuality Professional workplace appearance and conduct Meets or exceeds annual goals as pre-established by supervisor that are aligned with bank’s strategic plan The ideal candidate will possess: Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) Client orientation Strong time management and attention to detail Organization & problem-solving skills Basic math skills Basic computer skills, including Windows, Microsoft Word & Excel Requirements Education Minimum of Associate degree from accredited university; Bachelor’s degree preferred Additional bank-related training and/or retail banking preferred Experience Cash handling required 1-2 years’ work experience in a banking environment, preferably as a personal banker or universal banker Knowledge of financial products and services Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment Company Description American Community Bank & Trust (ACBT), founded in 2000, is an independent commercial bank focused on building relationships with privately owned businesses, investors, and families.
