Description Job Type Full-time Description A Universal Banker completes a wide range of tasks. Processing a variety of financial transactions including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments and opening accounts. Personal service and dependable guidance is a must. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: • Receive deposits and loan payments, record night and mail deposits, cash checks, and issue withdrawals. • Sell cashier’s checks and money orders and redeem series e bonds. • Provide information to customers on their account status and account balances. • Open new bank accounts (checking, savings, IRAs and CDs) according to regulations and procedures. • Refer customers to other bank services or departments, as necessary. • Provide exceptional customer service to customers in a friendly and courteous manner at all times. • Have sufficient knowledge about banking products and services and respond to all inquiries accordingly. • Ensure that all Bank policies and procedures, code of conduct and regulatory guidelines are strictly complied with. • Ensure that customers’ confidential information is properly protected and only used for official purposes. • Answer incoming phone calls. • Other duties as assigned.
