Job Description NBCUniversal’s Filmed Entertainment Global Distribution is responsible for the licensing and distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of television and new media platforms in the U.S., Canada and in over 200 territories internationally. NBCUniversal’s content portfolio includes a vast and diverse library of more than 6,500 feature films and 170,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, kids, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming from Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Universal Television, UCP, Universal International Studios, Sky Studios, Universal Television Alternative Studio, NBC Late Night properties, DreamWorks Animation, Telemundo, and more, as well as locally produced content from around the world. Global Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal. Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to: Global Business Operations: Intern will support this team that works to ensure that transactional digital Film and TV content is released on time and accurately on a global basis. Information Systems Services: Intern will work with data through the front-end of applications as directed and prepare data for programmatic updating working interactively with our Technology teams. International Digital Media: Intern will support the team responsible for the sales and distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of television and new media platforms in over 200 territories across the globe. Sales Admin: Intern will help log all incoming agreements & amendments, prepare and distribute internal sales reports, and assist in processing orders for content. Sales Planning: Intern will support the various teams in the department by reviewing deal terms, running availability reports and various data sets. Once deals are close the team manages long term deals with product notices. Liaising with clients and Sales team with all aspects of managing TV output deals for several designated territories. Sales Strategy & Development: Intern will partner with sales, finance, legal, operations and senior management to support deal negotiations, commercial analytics, and projects focused on licensing SVOD and AVOD businesses Qualifications Basic Requirements: Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program. Spring 2026 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2026 internship program. Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits). Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States. Must be available to work 40 hours per week from June 1 – August 7, 2026. Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA. For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.
