Responsibilities

The successful candidate will continue our work within the FFG-Project MoSiLIB which is dedicated to the development and characterization of new anode materials based on SnS2/Si composite materials. Also, LNMO materials for the cathode of a full cell are included in our investigations. This means thermochemical measurements, structural investigations and interpretation of electrochemical experiments.
You actively participate in research, teaching & administration, which means:

You will be involved in research projects and scientific studies in the field of battery materials, at the crossroads of environmental science, resource management and sustainability

  • .You will independently plan and carry out complex experiments, evaluate the data and interpret the results
  • .You will be involved in publications/academic articles/ presentation
  • sWe expect you to finalize your dissertation agreement within 12-18 months
  • .You work on your dissertation and its completion
  • .We expect you to join the Doctoral School for Chemistry of the University of Vienna
  • .You teach within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement
  • .You take on administrative tasks in research, teaching and administration
  • .We expect you to help with the maintenance of our experimental equipment and to take on administrative tasks
