The Department of Islamic-Theological Studies is looking for a University Assistant Postdoc in the field of Islam in Contemporary Society. The position comprises 40 hours and is limited to 4 years. We are a young team and offer a pleasant working atmosphere, flexible working hours and good opportunities for further training.

Active participation in research, teaching & administration, which means:

Development and advancement of an independent teaching and research profil

• eInternational publications and lecture
• sSupport in the planning and organisation of meetings, conferences, symposia and workshop
• sCollaboration in the development of research projects and the acquisition of third-party fundin
• gIndependent organisation of courses, examinations and supervision of Islamic-Theological Studies students in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programme
• sParticipation in organisational and administrative tasks in teaching, research and Department management as well as in evaluation processe
