YOUR PERSONAL SPHERE OF INFLUENCE:

We are looking for a highly motivated and hardworking (PhD student) at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry. Your position is at the interface of radiochemistry, peptide chemistry, and nuclear medicine. See also:
You have previous knowledge in the area of radio-, peptide-, and/or bioinorganic chemistry related to oncological medicinal challenges.
Moreover, you have had opportunities to teach and have a working knowledge of university procedures and structures Ideally, you have been involved in scientific work and have gathered some international experience.
Contract duration: 3 years with a preliminary limitation of 1,5 years and will automatically be extended to 3 years unless the employer hands in a non-extension declaration after 12 months. An extension up to a total of 4 years is then possible provided the excellent performance of the candidate

You will be involved in research projects and among others, develop novel radiopharmaceuticals and evaluate their use in pre-clinical medical oncology research.
The research project involves:

Peptide synthesi

• sBioconjugation chemistr
• yAnalysis of compounds by common analytical methods (NMR, MS, HPLC etc.
• )Radiolabelling reactions and quality contro
• lIn vitro evaluation of novel radiopharmaceuticals (e.g., on cells
• )In vivo evaluation or assistance in such experiments (mice
• )

Furthermore

You will design experiments aimed at the development of novel peptide- and radiometal-based radiotracers for use in oncology

• .We expect you to finalize your dissertation agreement within 12-18 month
• sYou hold courses independently to the extent of the provisions of the collective agreement
