We are looking for an English teacher for a university in Chongqing. This position is available with an immediate start. Job details Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to university students, following the school's established English curriculum and academic objectives Teach a total of 14–18 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no office hours required Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in line with course requirements and student levels Foster a positive and immersive English learning environment that encourages student participation, confidence, and language development Evaluate student progress through assignments, presentations, and exams, and provide constructive feedback to support their improvement Participate in occasional department meetings, student activities, or cultural exchange events if needed Support students’ academic growth by offering guidance on English usage in academic and real-world contexts Bachelor Degree or above Excellent English communicative skills Hold a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA teaching certificate Related working experience preferred Salary and benefits Monthly Salary of 10,000 to 13,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications Monthly salary varies according to academic qualification and position which can be negotiated in person Foreign Expert permit provided Resident insurance Free accommodation, independent furnished apartment (2-bedroom) on campus provided Free lunch Public holidays Summer and Winter holidays Round trip economic class air ticket provided Free airport pick-up and send-off Organized visits to local cultural attractions Free Chinese classes (two hours per week)
