Your team: As part of the Global Compliance function you will join the Employee Related Conflicts Team, which plays a key role in safeguarding the bank’s integrity by identifying, assessing, and mitigating employee-related conflicts of interest and conduct risks. The Employee Related Conflicts Team is responsible for managing compliance-related matters concerning Julius Baer employees, focusing on potential conflicts of interest and integrity risks. The Team's responsibilities range from assessing employee requests and inquiries regarding side employments, gifts & entertainment, to reviewing personal employee trading activities and securities holdings, while ensuring adherence to company policies and legal standards. Working closely with various internal stakeholders, including Compliance colleagues, colleagues in HR, Markets, Legal and the front office. The Team provides guidance and oversight to ensure transparency and regulatory alignment to our employees as well as harmonize the global approach to the framework with local Compliance functions. This position contributes to maintaining trust, fairness, and collaboration across the organisation globally by proactively addressing employee-related compliance concerns, aligning with other locations, with a particular focus on monitoring and guiding employee transaction behaviour in line with regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks. In 2026, the Team is largely engaged in a global project focusing on digitising the processing of employee transaction behaviour and automating corresponding controls. Visit our careers website: https://www.juliusbaer.com/en/careers/graduates/ YOUR CHALLENGE Be involved in the global, multi-year Personal Account Transactions (PAT) Suite initiative on digitalisation of employee trading behaviour processing and automation of global control executions Actively support the harmonisation of controls and alignment of control standards across all locations Lead consultation sessions with single or multiple offices abroad to promote global consistency and enhance harmonised control execution Contribute to the digitisation and harmonisation of control processes, improving efficiency and effectiveness through technological solutions for a global intelligent control set-up Participate in technical feasibility studies aimed at streamlining operations, including the development or acquisition of machine-readable solutions Review and evaluate a range of conflicts of interest cases, understanding their nuances and resolving selected cases under supervision Gain practical experience in the daily duties of an Employee Related Conflicts Officer YOUR PROFILE Master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences with above-average grades in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Compliance, or Computer Science / Information Systems (graduation max. 12 months ago) Initial practical experience in financial services or regulatory/compliance projects, and with process optimisation, control frameworks, data analysis, or digital transformation initiatives Passion for wealth management and a desire to create value beyond wealth A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong appetite for learning Fluency in English, with additional languages being a plus Eligibility to work in the country where you apply for the position We review applications on a rolling basis.
