The Marketing and Public Relations Department at Milligan University invites applications for the position of University Marketing Videographer and Photographer. This position is a full-time, salaried exempt position with an immediate start date. The University Marketing Videographer and Photographer produces professional quality marketing videos and photography as well as creative content across a variety of platforms. The position works on projects directed to a wide variety of Milligan’s constituencies including students, alumni, donors, friends, and faculty and staff. In addition, the University Marketing Videographer and Photographer works on projects with a team and independently and handles several projects at once while consistently meeting deadlines.
Qualifications: Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in a related field. Successful candidates should also have advanced videography and photography skills and an understanding of them as they relate to marketing, with knowledge of lighting, composition, editing, etc. While editing and design work takes place within an office environment at a computer, photography and videography will require the ability to move around campus and be present at events on some mornings, evenings, and weekends, as well as lifting up to 50 lbs (e.g., carrying camera equipment). Successful candidates should also demonstrate a strong Christian faith and commitment to Milligan’s mission as a Christian liberal arts university.
