THE DETAILS:

  • Work part time - 3 to 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), depending on what suits your study needs
  • Appointment will be for the duration of your undergraduate studies.
  • $34.68 per hour + 12% super (level 1)Great news - EBA6 currently is underway, with a proposed increase of 5% effective 1 July 2025
  • Work from home on Monday & Friday if this is part of your standard roster

    We are seeking a friendly, reliable and motivated University Student to work in our Development Services team!
    Development Services is shaping a better Moreton Bay by assessing and managing the effects of development on the community and environment of Moreton Bay, working in partnership with the development industry to design and construct infrastructure for the community as well as levying and recovering infrastructure charges to fund new and upgraded major community infrastructure.
    Working alongside professionals in this field, you will gain some great knowledge in the area of your studies as you assist the team in general administrative duties, including lodging applications and responding to inquiries. You will also provide project support to the planning team and assist with report writing and research.
    Your enthusiasm and drive will be paired with exceptional customer service skills as we strive to provide a great experience for all of our stakeholders we interact with.
    The successful candidate will rotate between the teams within Development Services that are located in Caboolture and Strathpine.
    You will be currently enrolled in relevant university studies ideally with a Town Planning focus and be available to work a minimum of 21.75 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
