FULL-TIME (37 HRS PER WEEK); OPEN-ENDED CONTRACT

This University Teacher position sits within the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences at Loughborough University and will support the teaching of Strength & Conditioning and Neuromuscular Physiology.

The job role will include:

  • Demonstrating/Seminars/Tutorials – to undertake laboratory/practical demonstration and/or support teaching activities during seminar, tutorial and practical sessions.
  • Setting up equipment in laboratories and practical spaces
  • Supervision – providing support to academic staff, supervising UG and PG projects.
  • Mentoring/Tutoring – providing students with guidance and technical support for module queries, study skills and referring them to appropriate pastoral support.
  • Marking.
  • Developing teaching and assessment related content and updating the Loughborough Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
  • Engaging with internal and external placement providers
  • Supporting student recruitment through school visits and open days

Candidates should have a strong, relevant, educational background, excellent communication skills and experience of undertaking a research project. Ideally the candidates should bring significant applied experience in a relevant area.
This full-time post is offered on an open-ended contract.
