REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Unix System Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
  • Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning.
  • Basic understanding of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain Unix-based systems and servers.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Perform regular system upgrades and patches to maintain security and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to support network and application infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.
