We are seeking an experienced Unix Engineer with strong expertise in OpenShift containers and proven banking operations experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of Unix-based platforms while driving containerization initiatives in a highly regulated banking environment. This role involves working closely with infrastructure, operations, and security teams to support mission-critical banking applications.

REQUIREMENTS

• Platform Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift (OCP), including managing day-2 operations like cluster upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Automation: Advanced knowledge of Ansible for automating infrastructure and application tasks.
• Middleware & Integrations: Proficiency with Red Hat’s middleware products, such as JBoss EAP, AMQ, and 3scale, as well as an understanding of Single Sign-On (SSO) and Red Hat Build of Keycloak (RHBK).
• Storage & Security: Expertise with Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) for storage management and Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security (ACS) for securing container environments.
• Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash for custom automation, data manipulation, and administrative tasks.
• Linux Fundamentals: Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration, including command-line tools and system-level configuration.
• GitOps & CI/CD: Experience with GitOps principles and tools like Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) for multi-cluster management and GitOps workflows
  Certifications preferred: Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), OpenShift Administrator (EX280), or equivalent
