We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Unix/Linux System Administrator to oversee and maintain our server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering Unix and Linux servers, ensuring system stability, security, and performance. The role involves implementing new systems, troubleshooting issues, performing maintenance, and providing technical support to ensure seamless operations across local and regional sites.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in Unix/Linux system administration.
• Strong knowledge of server installation, configuration, and management.
• Experience with backup solutions, high availability, and disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Knowledge of networking, storage, and security best practices.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle on-call responsibilities

Additional Requirements:

• This role may require on-call standby duties outside of standard office hours.
• The candidate should be prepared to work at regional sites as needed.
• A proactive approach to system maintenance and troubleshooting is essential
