Be part of our newly established IT Department at Infineon Technologies' Budapest office, a key hub for our global competence center in IT infrastructure, integration, and security. As a Unix/Linux System Engineer, you will contribute to the development of our global infrastructure, working with cutting-edge technologies and collaborating with international teams. We are seeking an experienced System Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating our complex Unix/Linux infrastructure, including high availability solutions, automation, and continuous improvement of technical processes. In your new role you will: Install, configure and operate our complex Linux / Unix Infrastructure within our worldwide distributed data centers including high availability solutions Automate and continuously improve of all technical processes Availability and performance monitoring including creation and customization of dashboards and alerts Troubleshooting and problem solving as part of 2nd and 3rd level support in cooperation with our internal customer as well as IT security support for the implementation of hardening / protection of the server systems and the running services on them Technology consulting for our customers, as wel You are a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively in a global team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. You are adaptable, flexible, and willing to learn and grow. With a strong foundation in IT and a passion for virtualization, you are well-equipped to succeed in this role. You are best equipped for this task if you have: Successfully completed a university degree in technical computer science (alternatively mathematics, physics with IT relevance) or have appropriate further training / relevant experience as an IT specialist.
