As an Unlicensed Medicines Associate at Clinigen, you will be crucial in ensuring patients receive access to medications that might not be readily obtainable through traditional channels. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to facilitate the procurement, distribution, and management of unlicensed medicines while upholding regulatory compliance. In this dynamic position, you will contribute to the clinical and operational dimensions of unlicensed medicinal products, significantly enhancing patient care. It's an exciting chance for individuals who are passionate about pharmaceuticals and committed to improving access to essential medicines. This role requires you to be in the office at least three days a week. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the sourcing and procurement of unlicensed medicines as per individual patient requirements. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines while managing unlicensed medicine requests. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients to understand their specific medicine needs and provide appropriate support. Maintain detailed documentation related to the procurement and distribution of unlicensed products. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and developments surrounding unlicensed medicines. Contribute to the development of internal processes and practices related to unlicensed medicines. Support the implementation of training and educational materials regarding unlicensed medicines to internal teams. Relevant degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field. Previous experience in a pharmaceutical, clinical, or healthcare setting preferred. Understanding of regulations governing unlicensed medicines and access schemes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Passionate about improving patient access to important therapies. This position necessitates that candidates possess valid working rights in Australia. Please note that we do not provide sponsorship.
