ABC Teachers are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Forest School Teacher (Unqualified) to join a dedicated SEN team in a unique and inspiring outdoor learning setting, working with students aged 11–19 with Autism.
This will be based in a growing provision in Leicestershire, which is a full-time, permanent opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of young people.

As an Unqualified Forest School Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, nature-based sessions for small groups of students
  • Use outdoor learning to support personal development, teamwork, resilience, and problem-solving
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation through structured forest school activities.
  • Adapt activities to meet individual needs and learning styles
  • Support students’ academic and social progress in line with their EHCPs or support plans
  • Ensure all activities are risk-assessed and delivered safely
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists, and support staff to align learning goals
  • Contribute to assessment and progress reporting as require
