ABC Teachers is currently has an exciting opportunity for an Unqualified Teacher of SEN, delivering PE in a truly unique outdoor learning environment for students aged 11-19 with special educational needs. Based a growing Leicestershire setting near Loughborough, this full-time, permanent role is perfect for a passionate individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable learners—through physical education, relationship-building, and outdoor experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive PE sessions tailored to students with special educational needs
  • Teach small groups in a homely, nurturing base, with learning extending regularly into the outdoors
  • Support students’ physical, emotional, and social development through movement and activity
  • Foster strong, trusting relationships that promote emotional safety and engagement
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support learners’ academic and pastoral progress
  • Use a deep understanding of Autism and SEMH to support individual needs
