About the role
Connex Education is seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to work with secondary school’s in Warrington as an Unqualified Teacher / Cover Supervisor.
Assignment Details

As an Unqualified Teacher / Cover Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to manage classrooms and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers. Key duties include:

• Supervising and managing classes across various subjects
• Implementing lesson plans left by absent teachers
• Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
• Managing student behavior and promoting engagement
• Providing feedback on student progress and any issues that arise
• Assisting with administrative tasks related to cover lessons

Person Specification:

• Bachelor’s degree in any subject
• Strong interest in education and working with young people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
• Adaptability and quick learning skills to cover various subjects
• Confidence in public speaking and engaging with groups
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
• No formal teaching qualification required - full training provided
