EXPERIENCE NEEDED

To join this programme, you must have prior experience working with children or in a related field. This can include roles such as:

  • Nursery worker
  • Afterschool club
  • Dinner lady
  • Youth worker
  • Coaching
  • Scouts leader
  • Dance instructor
  • Mentor or tutor
  • Playworker
  • School volunteer

Transferable experience from other sectors is also valuable, such as:

  • Support worker
  • Residential support worker
  • Prison officer
  • Nurse

Relevant qualifications, such as Health and Social Care, Child care, Psychology, are also welcome. If you’ve worked in roles that demonstrate your ability to support and guide others, we’d love to hear from you.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Driving License and Access to a Car: You must hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle, as the role may require travel between schools.
  • Availability: This is a day-to-day role supporting schools with both short-term and long-term cover needs. You must be available to work a minimum of 1 day per week and be able to start at 08:15 and finish at 15:30.
