Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate UCP’s with Personal support worker experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in retirement homes, dementia care, medication administration, and senior care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services to clients
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Support clients with activities of daily living
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with mobility and transfers
Qualifications:
- Certificate from a Personal Support Worker (PSW) program or equivalent
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field
- Previous work experience in a UCP role
- Knowledge of dementia care practices
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
