We are looking for an Upfit/Suspension Shop Apprentice Technician to join the team. Responsibilities: Assist with vehicle upfits, including installation of truck accessories and aftermarket equipment Install and service suspension lift kits, shocks and related components Perform quality control inspections after installations to ensure proper fitment and safety Assist technicians with brake, steering and suspension repairs Operate shop equipment and maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment Mount and balance tires, perform wheel alignments (if applicable) Inspect vehicles before and after modifications to verify proper operation Follow manufacturer specifications and shop procedures for all installations Skills: Vehicle upfitting and customization Suspension lift and leveling kit installation Proficiency with hand and power tools Quality control inspections Shop safety organization Teamwork and communication Ability to lift heavy components and work in a fast paced environment Work is performed indoors in a shop environment, standing and walking will be required for entire work shift in order to complete job duties. Pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling will be required frequently to access all parts of vehicles being worked on.
