This position is responsible for upholstering furniture frames with precision, efficiency, and a strong focus on quality. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works effectively in a fast-paced production environment, and contributes to a team-oriented culture aligned with our commitment to delivering exceptional products to our customers. Key Responsibilities: Upholster furniture frames (sofas, sectionals, chairs, and accent pieces) according to company specifications and quality standards Apply fabric, leather, and webbing using hand tools and pneumatic equipment (e.g., staple guns) Read and follow work orders, build sheets, and production schedules accurately Ensure proper fabric alignment, tension, and finish to meet quality expectations Inspect materials and completed work for defects; escalate issues as needed Maintain consistent production output to meet daily and weekly targets Support team goals by collaborating with adjacent departments (woodshop, foam, assembly) Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workstation Participate in training, cross-training, and continuous improvement efforts Requirements 1+ years of upholstery experience in furniture manufacturing preferred (entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitiude will be considered Ability to use hand tools and pneumatic tools safely and effectively Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed Familiarity with different fabric types, leather applications, and pattern matching preferred Basic understanding of production metrics and efficiency standards preferred
