OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an upholsterer. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembly and fabrication of products while ensuring quality standards are met. A background in warehouse operations will be advantageous, as the role involves heavy lifting and working with both hand and power tools.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven knowledge with patterning, leathers and fabrics desirable
• Familiarity with sewing techniques is a plus.
• Previous experience in upholstery a must, assembly roles is highly desirable.
• Background in warehouse operations is beneficial, including experience with inventory management.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.

• Operate hand tools and power tools to assist in the assembly of products.
• Perform fabrication tasks as required, ensuring adherence to specifications.

• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Assist with heavy lifting and moving of materials throughout the production area.
