The responsibilities of the position include: * Teaching two to four sections of Mathematics. Course offerings range from Algebra I through AP Calculus. We seek as much flexibility as possible. Course assignments will be based on a candidate’s expertise and departmental needs. * Engaging in a student-centered approach to teaching; the ideal candidate will have experience with the facilitation of collaborative work in the math classroom. * Providing constructive, timely feedback to students and families through grading, maintaining digital records, email communication, and quarterly comment writing. * Creating availability outside classroom hours to meet with students for extra help as needed.
