Description Indian Rocks Christian School (IRCS) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Christian educator to teach Mathematics courses at the middle and high school levels. The ideal candidate will be committed to Christ-centered education, integrating a biblical worldview into instruction while fostering students' spiritual and academic growth. Key Responsibilities: Teach Mathematics courses in middle and high school, providing students with a strong foundation in mathematical concepts, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with IRCS’s curriculum, integrating faith into all subject areas. Encourage critical thinking, spiritual growth, and character development through academic instruction and classroom discussions. Utilize dynamic teaching methods, technology, and real-world applications to enhance student learning. Foster a love for both Mathematics and God's Word through engaging teaching strategies, discussions, and discipleship opportunities. Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support student growth, academic achievement, and spiritual formation. Actively participate in school events, professional development, and community activities as part of the IRCS team. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (Master’s degree preferred). Teaching credentials in Mathematics and/or Bible education, with demonstrated experience instructing middle and/or high school students. Teaching certification from ACSI or the ability to obtain one Strong commitment to Christian values, spiritual discipleship, and the mission of Indian Rocks Christian School. A collaborative and supportive leader who exemplifies humility, drive, emotional intelligence, positivity, and unwavering loyalty to the IRCS vision and mission. Demonstrate a consistent Christian lifestyle as referenced by the Mission, Statement of Faith, and Leadership Guidelines of Indian Rocks. Must be willing to become an active member of Indian Rocks Church as defined by regular attendance in worship services, regular attendance/involvement in an Indian Rocks Connection Group or Small Group, and commitment to systematic stewardship and faithful in tithing.
