St. Stephen’s Episcopal School, a day and boarding school of 710 students (grades 6-12), is seeking an Upper School Mathematics Teacher for a full-time position beginning August 1, 2025.
Candidates must have a degree in mathematics or a closely related field, as well as experience teaching math in grades 9-12. The Mathematics Department is looking for candidates who utilize a variety of teaching methods, are technologically proficient, and who love working closely with energetic students and a dedicated faculty.

Duties include:

• Teaching 4 sections of Upper School Mathematics;
• Contributing to two other areas of school life, including athletic or extracurricular programs;
• Serving as a student advisor, supervising students during lunchtime, study halls, recess periods (if applicable), afternoon activities, library, Chapel and assembly programs required of the students, serving as a chaperone at student events, participating in student retreats, community service days, and attending team meetings, as assigned;
• Offering after-school and, sometimes, evening and weekend conferences to accommodate our boarding school students’ schedules.
