About the Role At Tahoe Expedition Academy, Spanish is a passport to language, to culture, and to a world our 9th through 12th graders are already shaping. This is a role for an educator who wants to teach with consequence: three rich sections spanning Spanish 1, 2, and 3/4, a CREW advisory cohort, and an elective course shaped by your own expertise and passions. The field is where TEA comes alive. You will help co-lead several weeks of fieldwork per year, sometimes in Spanish-speaking countries where language instruction becomes lived practice. You will be a visible, trusted role model. Our Upper School faculty are mentors that 9th through 12th graders look to for rigor, warmth, and the kind of guidance that outlasts any single course.
