Stowe Australia is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated UPS Technician to join our dynamic team within our Brisbane Client Services Branch. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Have a thorough knowledge of AS3000.
  • Have excellent Customer Communication Skills.
  • Have excellent fault finding and rectification skills.
  • Be able to work outside normal hours and be on call, when required.
  • Be able to work unsupervised.
  • Have Quality workmanship and organisational Skill.
  • Experience with data Centre environments highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle complex service situations.
  • Current Qld Manual open Driver’s licence.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE…

As a UPS Technician at Stowe Australia, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of UPS systems, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and operational reliability. Your role will include commissioning, servicing, and fault diagnosis of power products in accordance with our service contracts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, test, commission, and maintain UPS systems and associated equipment.
  • Carry out fault finding and repairs to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and staff.
  • Prepare and submit service reports and documentation.
  • Participate in an on-call roster for emergency services and after-hours support.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current Qld Electrical licence with minimum 3 years post apprenticeship experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in servicing and maintaining UPS or power electronics equipment.
  • Current Qld Manual open Driver’s licence Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to handle on-call duties and after-hours work as required
