About the role As an UPS Technician, you will support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of uninterruptible power systems that serve mission‑critical environments such as data centers. This role is well suited for a technically curious, hands‑on professional with foundational UPS experience who is looking to grow into advanced commissioning and service work. You will work alongside senior technicians and engineers to perform preventive maintenance, assist with diagnostics, and respond to service events while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. This position provides strong exposure to live data‑center environments, OEM equipment, and structured training that supports long‑term career advancement in critical power systems. What we offer Competitive compensation with performance‑based incentives Full benefits package and 401(k) Hands‑on training with leading UPS manufacturers Opportunities for nationwide travel A culture focused on safety, teamwork, and technical excellence Clear growth path within a rapidly expanding engineering and commissioning organization What you'll do Assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing UPS systems and related power equipment Perform scheduled preventive maintenance under guidance from senior technicians Support troubleshooting and diagnostics of UPS, battery, and power distribution systems Conduct battery inspections, visual assessments, and basic system checks Assist with load testing and system performance evaluations Support system upgrades, component replacements, and decommissioning efforts Follow all safety procedures, lock‑out/tag‑out requirements, and company protocols Accurately document service activities, maintenance records, and work performed Respond to service calls and assist during critical power events as needed Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and field leadership Continuously develop technical skills through on‑the‑job training and OEM coursework Qualifications 2–3 years of hands‑on experience supporting UPS systems or critical power equipment Exposure to UPS manufacturers such as Eaton, Vertiv, Delta, Toshiba, or similar Basic understanding of electrical systems, batteries, and power distribution Ability to safely work in live, mission‑critical environments Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn advanced diagnostics Comfortable working in high‑reliability, fast‑paced settings Good communication skills and attention to detail for documentation and reporting Willingness to travel as required #LI-ATC
