If you’re ready for your work to matter, we’re ready to hear from you! We’re currently growing our team of Artisans with an Upstream Equipment Coordinator. This role is responsible for ensuring the packing, tracking, and receiving of all Upstream mechanical equipment to/from projects. This position would also assist with the maintenance warehousing process, assisting in receiving, storing, issuing, and delivery of equipment, tools, and supplies, maintaining inventory control, and doing the required record keeping of parts and materials used for repair, maintenance, and operations at the Houston Distribution Center. Requirements Duties & Responsibilities Ensure all Upstream mechanical rental equipment is properly maintained. Plan and manage the equipment packing, including the usage of 3rd party rental items. Manage fabrication, installation of custom client specific requirements. Continuous improvement expected with regular efficiency and cost reduction ideas. Work closely with Upstream operations to understand needs and timelines. Order and facilitate delivery of parts, tools, and supplies needed by RTI team members at the Houston Distribution Center. Maintain re-order points and initiate all purchase requests to always keep stock items available (bolts, gaskets, paint, etc.). Sort and store items according to established procedures. Load and unload delivery trucks as required. Verify accuracy of parts, tools, and supply shipments by counting, weighing, or measuring items and comparing size, weight, description, and code numbers with information on invoice or packing slip and purchase orders; record any discrepancies or damage. Maintain computerized inventory records of parts, tools and supplies used at the HDC to maintain rental equipment. Coordinate and perform physical inventory count for all parts, tools, and supplies on a periodic basis, and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies. Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including forklift, pallet jack, and handcart. Maintain custody receipts for items being repaired and loaned out temporarily. Maintain inventory, safety, maintenance, and repairs of RTI’s forklifts ensuring safety and readiness. Maintain warranty of warehouse/tool-room tools and equipment and facilitate repair as needed. Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately. Help keep shop, equipment, and tools in safe operating condition. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment. Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to prescribed safety procedures. Supervisory Responsibilities None Minimum Qualifications Primary knowledge of the variety of fittings, valves, pipe, other rental equipment, and the fabrication of threaded piping assemblies. Ability to organize shipment requirements and identify needs from multiple sources to ensure timely delivery of RTI equipment. Ability to operate a forklift. Ability to use hand tools. Valid driver’s license. Additional or Preferred Qualifications 3 years of equipment maintenance experience preferred. Experience operating boilers. Ability to learn and understand more extensive knowledge of mechanical equipment and pipe work. Ability to organize and maintain regional repair shops to provide timely and effective repairs of RTI equipment. Familiar and comfortable working with a computer. Documented mechanical aptitude or formal mechanical education. Training or experience as a forklift operator. Working Conditions / Physical Demands Work is executed primarily in a shop/warehouse type environment. At industrial sites and in the shop environment one may be required to carry equipment (up to 40 pounds), climb stairs and ladders, work in inclement weather and be on one’s feet for a 12-hour shift. RTI will provide appropriate PP&E: fireproof clothing, hard hat, safety shoes, gloves, etc. Some facilities require the use of respirators. Travel Requirements Less than 20%. Responsibilities
