Description
Your Role As a Gensler Urban Designer, mid level, you will collaborate with our Design Directors to develop design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase of a project. You will be successful because you already know how to translate sketches and documents into realized 2D/3D models and images, and can research artistic and/or technical issues when they arise. What You Will Do Participate in all project planning phases, including conceptual designs and presentations. Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives Produce graphic presentations, including 2D and 3D renderings Utilize hand rendering techniques to communicate design concepts Your Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in architecture and/or urban planning and design 8+years of related project experience, Proficiency in modeling using 2D/3D software, such as CAD, Revit, Octane, 3dViz, 3d Studio MAX, and/or Rhino utilizing Vray Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and SketchUp Knowledge of relevant zoning codes and other planning regulations Licensure and LEED accreditation a plus How to Apply To be considered, submit a current portfolio and/or work samples in PDF format.
