QUALIFICATIONS

· CELTA Certificate is compulsory
· Graduate, preferably with a postgraduate qualification
· Relevant Teaching qualifications or some experience of teaching at higher education level
· TEFLI certificate in ELT/TESOL as detailed from British Council
· TEFLQ diploma in ELT/TESOL

Responsibilities

· Preparing and delivering classes, including the preparation of appropriate additional teaching materials in print and/or online.
· Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of students
· Contribute to the delivery of high quality, innovative and effective teaching and new teaching initiatives.
· Design, plan and prepare teaching materials to a range of classes using blended learning techniques.
· Develop new teaching materials using a variety of resources including audio and visual.
· Develop students listening, reading and writing skills via individual and group sessions.
· Check assess and give developmental feedback on students work.
· Prepare and set tests, examination papers and exercises.
· Grade work and provide adequate developmental feedback on oral and written work.
· Contribute to the development and delivery of excellent learning, teaching and assessment practice.
· Contribute to subject, professional and/or pedagogical practice.
· Contribution to the continuous improvement of the student experience.
· Work with other tutors and the administrative teams to deliver excellent student care and support student success.
· Keep up to date with developments within the field and seek continuous improvement of own professional practice.
· Supporting and advising students as required
· Maintain a high standard of student engagement and satisfaction.
