In this role, you will be responsible for the pre-screening and initial evaluation of loan applications, supporting Credit Officers by ensuring timely and compliant assessments that align with internal policies and regulatory standards. What the role will entail Conducts proper AML/KYC due diligence upon onboarding Performs pre-evaluation of loan applications within the prescribed turnaround time Performs duplicate checking vs. bank systems and bureau database Assesses and recommends the acceptability of the applicant based on approved policies Ensures all applications processed adhere to credit policies Coordinates with Credit Officers and related teams as needed What we're looking for At least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Marketing, or equivalent Preferably with experience in a similar or related capacity Trainable, keen to details, self-motivated, and able to work under minimal supervision Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with AML/KYC is a plus What you can expect from joining our team Career development and training opportunities Competitive salary package and benefits Performance-based incentives and recognition programs to reward high-performing individuals Opportunity to work with industry experts and be mentored by them Defined career progression paths to guide you in your professional growth
