URGENT: Logistics Dispatch & Route Optimization Assistant (US logistics experience is required) Application Deadline: 8 November 2025 Department: Operations Employment Type: Full Time Location: Toronto Compensation: $5.00 - $6.00 / hour Description Assign, schedule, and monitor delivery routes and drivers to ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs. Utilize AI routing tools and logistics software to create efficient delivery routes, then cross-check and adjust them as needed for accuracy and real-world constraints. Track driver progress, address route changes, delays, or incidents, and communicate updates to relevant parties promptly. Serve as the main point of contact for drivers and customers, providing real-time support and issue resolution. Maintain accurate records of routes, delivery times, and driver logs using company software and spreadsheets. Assist with reporting, documentation, and general back-office tasks related to dispatch and logistics. Support payroll processes by ensuring accurate tracking of driver hours and completed deliveries. Hard Requirements: 2–3 years of experience in U.S.-based logistics, dispatch, or transportation coordination (required). Familiarity with route optimization software and AI-assisted logistics tools. Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, particularly under time-sensitive conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with drivers and customers. Proficient in using digital tools such as Google Workspace, Excel, and logistics management systems. Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy. Experience in administrative or payroll support is a plus. Schedule: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 9AM–6PM US Eastern Standard Time Offer and Benefits: $5-$6USD/hour HMO coverage after 1 year of employment.
