POSITION SUMMARY:

• The Logistics Transportation Pricing Analyst is responsible for analyzing current market conditions and economic trends while continuously evaluating the efficiency of surface transportation cost routes.
• This role requires applying various factors to create an overall cost simulation, enabling the optimization of transportation pricing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency across logistics operations.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Logistics Analyst or in a similar role, with proven expertise and progressively increasing responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel, with the ability to manipulate large datasets and create complex reports.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to improve logistics operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfortable working with tables, charts, and numbers to present findings and recommendations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work additional hours outside of regularly scheduled business hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.

Transportation Data Analytics:

• Conduct internal and external transportation data analysis and cost research to support carrier negotiations.
• Simulate scenario-based cost estimations to identify the most optimal transportation solutions.
