As a Registered Nurse, you’re dedicated to providing peace of mind to both clients and their families. You collaborate closely with your Care Designer to craft a high-quality care experience and ensure client goals are consistently met.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two positive professional references required
  • Active registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), including a valid certificate
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; experience in home health care is considered a strong asset
  • Ability to travel independently to and from client visits
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and professionalism
  • Flexible availability - care is provided 24/7, so shifts may be scheduled in the early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to accommodate client needs
    Qualifications:

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Bachelor of Nursing (BN) degree from a CNO-approved university or college
  • Be registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Valid certificate of registration from the CNO
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Valid driver’s license

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient computer skills, with strong knowledge of G Suite applications including Gmail, Drive, Docs, and Calendar
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and tone
  • Highly organized, with demonstrated strengths in planning, time management, and multitasking
  • Background in customer service or leadership is considered a valuable asset
  • Clear Background or Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Screening
  • Negative TB test required
Responsibilities

  • Owns the client journey, fulfilling our Brand Promise by doing whatever it takes to provide peace of mind to clients and their families.
  • Provides comprehensive nursing care and assessments in alignment with your professional scope of practice and the standards outlined in the Code of Conduct.
  • Collaborates openly with the Care Designer, sharing insights and identifying opportunities to enhance the client experience and elevate care quality.
  • Responds promptly to the Care Services Center (CSC) regarding scheduling requests, updates, and inquiries within agreed-upon timelines.
  • Practices safely and competently, staying within the boundaries of your knowledge and experience, while upholding the standards of the Code of Conduct.
  • Acts as a community leader, representing Nurse Next Door with professionalism and compassion.
  • Utilizes digital tools effectively, including mobile apps and email, to ensure timely communication and accurate documentation related to client care.
