Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer Location: Mahape MIDC, Navi Mumbai Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 Experience: 5–7 years Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering Key Responsibilities: Manage quality assurance and quality control across manufacturing processes. Conduct in-process and final inspections of fire extinguishers, cylinders, valves, and assemblies. Ensure compliance with ISO, BIS, ISI, CE, UL, and other safety standards. Handle audits, documentation, NCRs, and CAPA processes. Lead root cause analysis and resolve customer complaints. Monitor rejection rates, rework, and quality KPIs. Support vendor audits and supplier quality checks. Drive continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma). Train and guide junior quality staff. Required Skills: Knowledge of QMS and regulatory standards. Experience in manufacturing (preferably fire safety/pressure equipment industry). Ability to read mechanical drawings and use measuring instruments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
